Breaking the
cycle of abuse…
We support adults and children experiencing difficulties in life. Our community-based therapeutic programmes are delivered through a range of interventions from individual and group counselling to organisational guidance, training and workshops.
What is Felt Trauma Therapy®?
Felt trauma is the trauma of feelings, caused by not having our basic emotional needs met by our primary carers and may result in us developing unhealthy core beliefs, unhealthy behaviours (including addiction or self-harm), experiencing mental health challenges, and struggling to maintain healthy relationships.
Felt Trauma Therapy® identifies the root causes of behaviours relating to felt trauma. It helps adults and children to model a positive identity and positive relational dynamics, supporting people to break the cycle of abuse.
- pioneering mixed-therapy programme, combining group psychotherapy with one-to-one support, delivered by adult recovery workers, child recovery workers, & trained therapists;
- delivered as an 8-week therapeutic programme for children and adults by SAFE Foundation;
